I wrote this song a few Christmases ago, feeling very poor. It's about how, with an empty wallet and no heat on Christmas eve, we can still gather and warm ourselves with a song about what we too often forget to celebrate: a child born in a barn, whose life was dedicated to teaching peace and love.
